Referee Information
'And Me', U-6, U-8, and U-9/10
Referees for U-10 games and below must be at least 14 years old. They do not need to be certified, but knowledge of the Laws of the Game, and associated rules for the levels of play is required.
In addition, referees must be at least 2 years older than the players they are refereeing.
U-12 and Older
Referees for U-12 and older must be certified by U.S. Soccer. They must take and pass a certification class, and recertify each year after.

Travel Soccer
All referees for travel soccer games games must be certified by U.S. Soccer.
