Parade Information
Dear Coaches, Parents, and Players,
DYS will be participating in 2 Memorial Day Parades this year. Although you are not required to attend it is a great way for the kids to have fun, get to know other players and coaches, and promote the DYS organization.
The first will be the Mount Joy parade on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 2:00pm. We will be lining up at 12:30 at Main and Church Street (Near the Glossbrenner Church) and ending at Barbara St.
The second will be the Marietta parade on Monday, May 27, 2013 at 11:00am. We will be lining up at 10:00am at the Donegal Intermediate School (please enter the parking lot via Rte. 441 due to construction of the school) and ending at Marietta Cemetery.
We are in need of a truck, trailer and driver for both parades. If you are able to help us out with this please contact me at 610-698-3324.
I also need parents and coaches to participate to help supervise our players. Again, if you are able to do so please contact me at the above number.
Please fill out the below form and return to your coaches by Saturday, May 18 so I have an idea if we have enough interest in participating. Coaches I will be at both U6 and U8 (practice/game that day) I will try best to get to each team to collect these forms. If for some reason I did not get to you please try and get the forms to me. For U6 (Red team) and U8 (Maroon team). As far as, Mommy and Me, Recreational and Select Teams if you could have someone drop them off that day I would really appreciate it.
