NSCAA Youth Level 1 Coaching course & DYS Coaches Kick-Off

  NSCAA Youth Level 1 Coaching course & DYS Coaches Kick-Off

  Level 1 Course Description:

  This Diploma is designed to help coaches implement developmentally appropriate training games to improve skill levels in a fun and safe environment. The Diploma has three parts, classroom with theory of coaching U6-U8, field work with coaches and field work with U6-U8 players. Coaches not working at this age group would benefit greatly from an appreciation of the developmental abilities and needs of this important age group.

   

  When:

  Saturday, March 16th

  8:00am-12:00pm:  NSCAA course (NSCAA instructor)

  12:15pm-1:00pm:  Pizza, refreshments and DYS administrative guidelines and expectations (DYS President and age group coordinators)

  1:00pm-2:00pm:    DYS Coach the Coaches: Technical demonstrations and Q & A (DYS Coach, Chris Ward)

   

  Where:

  Donegal High School

   

  Who:

  All DYS Coaches

  *Level 1 course is geared towards And Me, U6 and U8 level coaches. However, all coaches are welcome and could benefit from the training.

  *The DYS sessions (12:15-2:00pm) are mandatory for all coaches. (This is in place of the mandatory coaches meeting)
